Partnering with clients across all industry verticals, Ann leverages her CPA designation to fully understand client needs and assists organizations in building exceptional finance and accounting teams.

Ann has 15 years of search experience placing Boards of Directors, C-suite, and senior level talent across a range of industries and functional areas including Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President Finance, Controller, Audit, Internal Controls, Risk Management, Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Investor Relations, Audit Committee, Vice President Human Resources, as well as public service and not for profit leadership.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ann was with an international executive search firm managing a team focused on Accounting and Finance engagements.

Previously, Ann’s career was with British Columbia’s public service as the Managing Director of the Board Resourcing and Development Office responsible for the appointment of executive and crown corporation Boards of Directors and corporate governance. She also served as a Director and Risk Governance Specialist with the Financial Institutions Commission regulating credit unions, insurance companies, pension funds, and trusts.

Ms. Wicks graduated with a Bachelor of Political Science Degree from the Carleton University, holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA) designation and has completed governance courses with the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).

Actively involved in the community, Ann has volunteered on the boards of the United Way Campaign Cabinet, the Association of Women in Finance, and the Greater Vancouver Foodbank Society. She is a member of Triathlon BC and Cycling BC and is training for several endurance events.
