Let’s Talk – Cecilia Pinzón
We have a huge, diverse workforce that needs a lot of inclusive leaders that value, respect, and support each one of them to get the best of their contributions and, for sure, the best of results for the company.
What is an inclusive leader?
We've been talking about leadership for many years, and you open the internet with the word "leadership," and you'll find a lot of things, but lately, what we've been hearing is that we need, in these disruptive times, we need agile leaders, we need digital leaders, and we need inclusive leaders.
Inclusive leaders are those that are open to differences.
Inclusive leaders are those that are open to differences, but not only open and respect differences, but also want to learn more. Inclusive leaders are those that inspire others, but also let themselves be inspired by others. Inclusive leaders are those that are capable of flourishing talent, or support others in flourishing their talent. Inclusive leaders are the ones that are going to value you, respect you, and support you during your period of time in the company.
Inclusive leaders are going to foster a culture of psychological safety.
Those inclusive leaders are the ones also that are going to foster a culture not only of inclusion, but also of psychological safety, so everyone can be themselves and be at their best.
