This course provides an introduction to the fundamental concepts of data analytics using Excel. Participants will learn how to manipulate and analyze data to make informed decisions. This course is ideal for beginners with little to no experience in data analytics.

Before the analytics content, we provide an Excel Primer that is often requested and much needed by many. We review Excel basics like understanding workbooks, worksheets and navigating the ribbon. We discuss common formulas and functions and applying the very popular Excel Keyboard tricks, tips and shortcuts.

Then, we introduce our approach to data analytics that can be scaled up or down, based on the project scope. We take a deeper dive into all the popular introductory topics such as creating tables, sorting and filtering. We include discussions and activities around other popular topics such as VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, data visualizations (charting) and many other interesting topics.
