Mr. Szabo is responsible for the Hungarian operations and senior-level executive search assignments in Budapest, with an emphasis on the banking and investment sectors as well as the industrial marketplace.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1997, Mr. Szabo was a partner of another major Hungarian executive search firm, billing business in excess of one million dollars.
Before that, he was involved in the start up of the consultancy firm Ernst & Young, first concentrating on auditing corporate management dealing with privatization, and ultimately heading a team of a dozen professionals.
Mr. Szabo began his career as a researcher and scientific assistant at the Faculty of Sociology in Budapest.
Mr. Szabo holds a law degree in addition to a bachelor's degree in sociology from Eoetvoes Lorand University of Sciences, Faculty of Law and Administration. He is fluent in German and English.
