Mr. Kassimatis has partnered with hundreds of clients to optimize organizational structures and deliver leadership talent that drive performance in commodity-based sectors including mining, forest products, and agribusiness.

A growing focus of his has been executive search and talent advisory assignments that bridge the gap between technology and traditional industrial clients so that they can further advance technologies and support a more sustainable planet.

Within the mining sector, Mr. Kassimatis covers the spectrum of junior mining, mid-cap, Tier 1, METS, and mining contracting and services companies. He also works with clients across agriculture input suppliers, producers, processing and distribution, and retail. His forest products clients cover pulp & paper, hardwoods, and timberlands.

He has led search engagements for clients across a range of corporate structures including public, private, venture and private equity backed start-ups.

Prior to Korn Ferry, Mr. Kassimatis spent twenty years as an executive in an industrial start-up and as a consultant for medium-sized public company. He spent three years with an investment bank as a senior analyst originating emerging market structured debt finance deals. Together with his ten years of executive search experience in the global industrial sector, Mr. Kassimatis understands the importance of sourcing top caliber talent to fill key strategic positions within industrial organizations across all verticals. 

Mr. Kassimatis has led a broad range engagements from  highly technical executive searches in operations and project development, to functional leadership and C-Suite roles.

Mr. Kassimatis earned a Master of Business Administration, specializing in finance and strategic management,  from the University of British Columbia and graduated with a Bachelor of General Studies from Simon Fraser University.
