Senior Client Partner, Supply Chain, Operations & Procurement, EMEA
James Day is a Senior Client Partner and member of Korn Ferry Search London office where he co-leads the Supply Chain, Operations & Procurement Practice Centre of Expertise (CoE) in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He also focuses on B2B services and leads the Logistics Distribution & Transportation market sector in EMEA.
James has over 20 years’ executive search experience. He is currently responsible for search assignments for Supply Chain appointments in the UK and internationally across the value chain (planning, procurement/purchasing, manufacturing/operations, distribution and logistics).
He has a supply chain management track record spanning across a number of geographies and industry sectors such as consumer, life sciences, financial services, retail and industrial sectors within publicly quoted, privately or family owned businesses. Additionally, he has a track record of placing senior leaders in both commercial and P&L roles at ‘C suite’ level within the broader B2B sector.
Prior to joining Korn/Ferry Whitehead Mann in 2005, he worked at Veredus (formerly PwC executive search) focusing on board and senior management appointments both in the public and private sector.
His early career was with a reputable Financial Services boutique where he focused on searches within asset management, fund management and investment banking.
James has a BSc. in Technology Management from Oxford Brookes University.
