Giles Goschen is a Senior Client Partner in the Korn Ferry London office and a member of the Board and Global Industrial practices, with a specialism in the Aerospace & Defence and Industrial Technology markets.
His particular expertise is in Board appointments for industrial companies, including CEO, Chair and Non-Executive Director roles.
Prior to entering the search profession, he worked in the Investment Banking division of Deutsche Bank, where he focused on M&A and capital markets transactions in the transport sector in the U.K. and in Europe. He went on to become a partner in Barchester, a London-based corporate finance boutique.
Giles served as Minister for Aviation and Shipping in the British Government from 1994 to 1997. As such, he was responsible for all U.K. civil maritime and aviation policy, and for the sponsorship of the airline, airport, shipping and seaport industries. He represented the U.K. in the European Transport Council of Ministers, and negotiated international air service agreements with foreign governments.
Giles remains a member of the House of Lords. He received a bachelor’s degree in business studies.
