David is an organizational strategy, DEI / Leadership expert, ICF-credentialed executive coach, and facilitator who has consulted with mid-senior level leaders at large, global organizations, including Microsoft, Salesforce, Capitol One, Morgan Stanley, Fidelity, Northrup Grumman, among others to drive learning, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.  

David has coached senior leaders at Deloitte, West Monroe, and the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation on building cross-cultural competency, inclusive hiring practices, and implementing talent development and retention practices.

In the financial services & insurance sector, David implemented leadership principle and culture change initiatives aimed at empowering associates to ‘lead from their seat’ impacting nearly 70,000 employees.

David partnered with a leadership development boutique consulting firm to create a diagnostic tool to help gauge organizational DEI maturity – this tool was used to help clients identify structural inequities in their talent practices and processes.

David led the learning strategy for Marriott’s Customer Contact Centers which led to an increase in associate speed to proficiency.  

David completed his Master of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he was also an adjunct instructor for graduate & undergraduate courses. David has held volunteer positions at various non-profits, including Year Up, Spark, Junior Achievement, and City Year Chicago. David is based in Portland, OR where he and his husband are raising their two adopted children.
