Senior Client Partner
Cory Morrow is a Senior Client Partner for Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Dallas office. He leads Korn Ferry’s consumer and retail practice for Executive Pay & Governance.
On a recent project, Mr. Morrow worked with the compensation committee and senior management of a multinational organization to review and redesign executive compensation programs to ensure they support the company’s short- and long-term business.
His other work includes long-term incentive re-design, severance and retention programs, CEO employment agreements, IPO support, compensation philosophy development, proxy reporting, guidance on SEC regulations, director compensation analysis, and transaction support.
Mr. Morrow works in the Executive Pay & Governance practice, partnering with boards and senior leadership teams to develop programs that align performance and rewards with business strategy.
Mr. Morrow has over 20 years of experience as an advisor to both compensation committees and management on a wide range of issues in the field of executive compensation, including executive pay strategy, short and long-term incentive plan design, proxy disclosure, succession planning, transactions, and corporate governance for both public and private entities.
In addition to his extensive consumer experience, Mr. Morrow has consulted with clients in a variety of industries, including restaurants, technology, and manufacturing.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Morrow was a partner at Hay Group. He has also held consulting positions at Mercer, Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Morrow received a master’s of business administration in finance and organizational behavior from SMU’s Cox School of Business and a bachelor’s degree (magna cum laude) in Spanish literature from Pomona College. He is also a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP).
