Ben's knowledge and expertise cover a broad spectrum of sectors including residential, commercial, retail, industrial and mixed-use development, regeneration, construction, professional services and infrastructure within the real estate and finance sectors.

Specialist areas of expertise include development and project management, investment, asset management, design and planning, construction, debt and structured finance, corporate finance, sales and marketing and the alternative asset class real estate sectors.

Ben has successfully delivered numerous assignments for real estate organisations including; real estate investment trusts, global professional services firms, asset managers, investment managers, property companies, banks and private equity firms. He also has experience of delivering Board level non-executive assignments.

Prior to Korn Ferry, he spent 6 years building the real estate practice of an Australian Executive Search boutique.

In his early career Mr. Sturnham was a former professional rugby player, representing Saracens and Bath as well as England at International level.

He is a member of The Princes Trust Built Environment Leadership Group and supports several other charities.
