When important issues are on the line and timelines are getting tight, Austin Beaty is the person who comes through on the other side to deliver talent and positions that no one else can. In order to help people solve their career and business problems, Austin finds the right individual for each and every role, leading to long-term, strategic placements.

Austin came to Lucas Group’s HR division in 2016 with four years of experience as a Military Recruiting Account Executive throughout the Midwest. During his tenure with the company, he helped transitioning military veterans find civilian careers and begin new chapters in their lives in a variety of roles across every industry. Prior to his recruiting work, he spent six years as an Officer in the U.S. Army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal specialty, during which time he evaluated every aspect of a problem and walked through tools at his disposal to create the most effective and efficient outcome. Austin now takes that attention to detail and adaptive thinking to the recruiting world to solve the needs of his clients and candidates. He spent 3 years in Cincinnati before transitioning into a Managing Partner role for our Human Resources division in Denver before ultimately moving back home to Louisville, KY, where he resides today.

Passionate about helping others, especially veterans, in their personal and career aspirations, Austin spends his free time as a member of Team Red, White & Blue, an organization that enriches the lives of America's veterans by connecting them to their community through physical activity. A former lacrosse player, he is also involved in youth lacrosse in Louisville. Austin holds a B.A. in Sports Management from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
