Amie Chu is the Office Managing Partner in the Vancouver office and Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry's Global Technology Markets practice and focuses on assignments across the digital spectrum including cloud computing IoT big data mobile e-commerce and security.
Ms. Chu joined Korn Ferry from McKinsey & Company where she was an engagement manager based in the Singapore and Shanghai offices.
She has worked extensively for leading technology companies, ranging from early stage and pre-IPO companies to Fortune 100 companies to help them recruit general management, functional and C-suite leaders.
She has developed deep expertise in the technical functions and has led numerous searches for Chief Product Officers, Chief Technology Officers and Heads of Engineering; as well as leading searches in the Go-To-Market functions
Her clients included leading multi-national companies in the technology, healthcare and retail industries, consulting on topics such as business and digital transformation, growth and market entry strategy and operations optimization and turnaround.
Ms. Chu holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and management from McMaster University in Canada. She received a full scholarship leading to a masters of science degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University where her graduate research focused on digital signal processing techniques for real-time imaging.
