Miller

Senior Client Partner

Alex has more than 24 years of experience advising C-suite leaders with respect to mergers and acquisitions, carve-outs, divestitures, and HR transformations.

He has deep experience managing global project teams and working across functions and business lines to navigate complex issues and drive transformative change under tight time constraints.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Alex led the HR Program Management Office (PMO) for the largest IPO carve-out of the past two decades ($41.5 billion) from initial planning through “soft-spin” separation of more than 23,000 employees across 65 countries. Immediately prior to that, he served as advisor to HR for the integration of a $45 billion global consumer products business with a combined 110,000 employees in 40+ countries.

Previously, Alex spent more than 16 years with a big four accounting firm supporting some of the world’s largest organizations through all phases of the deal process. He holds a BA from Allegheny College and a JD from Cornell Law School.

By developing and delivering M&A training, building M&A “toolkits” and leading M&A Centers of Excellence at multiple organizations, Alex has focused on capturing learnings and setting up his clients for continued and repeated deal success beyond his initial engagements. He has been cited in numerous articles on HR M&A best practices.
