Do women earn less than men for the same work at your organization?

If so—or if you aren’t sure—it’s time to take action.

In fact, if you’re located in the EU, pay transparency will soon become mandatory, as it already is in several other regions around the world.

The EU has recently adopted new rules on pay transparency, which will require companies to share salary information and take action on any gender pay gaps.

Called the EU Pay Transparency Directive, it aims to combat pay discrimination and help close the pay gap, which remains around 13% across the EU. And it’s mandatory starting in 2026.

  • Is your organization ready?
  • Do you have a plan for implementation?
  • Have you identified the barriers to achieving pay transparency?
  • How do you plan to overcome any imbalances?

Korn Ferry asked these and more questions of executives in more than 30 EU countries to gauge their pay transparency readiness.
