The Power of The Human Spirit

You can’t find it on any anatomy chart or map. It’s not emblazoned across the sky. And yet, its force is everywhere. It is the force that develops things, transforms the world and changes people. With our human spirit, we gazed beyond the last breaking waves and wondered, “What’s beyond them? How do we find out?”

Our human spirit looked up and asked, “How do we reach the heavens?”

We are the sum of everything that makes us. If we are wise, we add to it. If we are foolish, we draw from it. If we are prudent, we contribute to it. But one thing is clear: The human spirit is something we share.

This year, as the moments move on, let us remind ourselves that we are joined to each other in a common endeavor. And let us remind ourselves that the future is in our hands.
