“The Korn Ferry Tour has experienced unprecedented growth in recent years with strong momentum going into the 2025 season,” said Korn Ferry Tour President Alex Baldwin, who oversees PGA TOUR Pathways, which includes the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA TOUR Americas, PGA TOUR University and PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry.
“This past season was historic for the Korn Ferry Tour, with Aldrich Potgieter becoming the youngest ever winner, Cristobal Del Solar carding a 57 for the lowest round in a PGA TOUR-sanctioned event, and Matt McCarty achieving the Three-Victory Promotion before going on to win the PGA TOUR’s Black Desert Championship. The success of our graduates on the PGA TOUR highlights the extraordinary and deep talent amongst Korn Ferry Tour membership, and we look forward to continue identifying, preparing and transitioning the PGA TOUR’s next stars.”
The 2025 Korn Ferry Tour schedule, the 35th season in the Tour’s history, will include 10 televised events on Golf Channel, a new Korn Ferry Tour Finals schedule, and the addition of an international event in Mexico. In total, the schedule features 26 tournaments across seven countries and 17 states.
The Korn Ferry Tour will open the season with back-to-back events in The Bahamas for the eighth consecutive season, as the Tour and The Bahamas Tourism agreed to a three-year contract extension (through 2027).
The 2025 schedule begins at a new venue, as Ocean Club Golf Course on Paradise Island will host The Bahamas Golf Classic at Atlantis Paradise Island (Jan. 12-15), followed by The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic at The Abaco Club (Jan. 19-22). Both tournaments will be broadcast by Golf Channel, marking the first time since 2020 both events in The Bahamas will be televised.
A total of 10 Korn Ferry Tour events will be televised in 2025, with Golf Channel set to air the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club (April 3-6), BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX (June 5-8), Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank and Intermountain Health (July 31- Aug. 3), Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron (Aug. 14-17), and all four season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Finals events.
Following the two-week opening stretch in The Bahamas, the Tour heads to Panama City for The Panama Championship (Jan. 30-Feb. 2), followed by the Astara Golf Championship presented by Mastercard (Feb. 6-9) in Bogota, Colombia.
After a two-week break, the season will resume in Buenos Aires, Argentina at the Jockey Club for the 118th Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro (Feb. 27-March 2), which became a Korn Ferry Tour event in 2024. In partnership with The R&A, the Visa Argentina Open presented by Macro will continue its tradition of awarding its champion an exemption for The Open Championship. The following week, the Korn Ferry Tour will head to Santiago, Chile for the Astara Chile Classic presented by Scotiabank (March 6-9).
For the second consecutive season, the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club (April 3-6) in Savannah, Georgia will be the first domestic event of the year. Following an off week, the Tour then heads to Lakewood Ranch, Florida for the LECOM Suncoast Classic (April 16-19), which will be contested Wednesday through Saturday during Easter weekend.
New to the Korn Ferry Tour next season, the PGA Riviera Maya Championship will become a Korn Ferry Tour event beginning in 2025 and will remain on the schedule through at least 2027. PGA Riviera Maya, located approximately 15 miles from Tulum, Mexico, has hosted various PGA TOUR-sanctioned events in recent years, including the 2024 Bupa Championship at Tulum, which was the season-opening event for the inaugural PGA TOUR Americas season. The PGA Riviera Maya Championship (May 1-4) will mark the seventh and final international event of the 2025 Korn Ferry Tour schedule.
“We are excited to welcome PGA Riviera Maya to the Korn Ferry Tour family and are grateful for their continued partnership with the PGA TOUR,” added Baldwin. “After four successful seasons as an event on PGA TOUR Americas and PGA TOUR Latinoamérica, and with constant positive feedback from our membership, we made the decision to transition PGA Riviera Maya to become a host venue on the Korn Ferry Tour. I am confident it will remain a great test for our Korn Ferry Tour members moving forward, and we’re proud to continue the tradition of contesting PGA TOUR-sanctioned golf in Mexico.”
The 2025 schedule features four tournaments that have been contested every season since the Tour’s establishment in 1990: Visit Knoxville Open (May 22-25), Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas Wichita Open Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics (June 19-22), Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Hiland Dairy Foods (July 17-20), and Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron (Aug. 14-17). The Utah Championship presented by Zions Bank and Intermountain Health (July 31-Aug. 3), which was on the Korn Ferry Tour’s inaugural schedule in 1990 but not contested during the 1997 or 1998 seasons, will be played at Ogden Golf & Country Club in Ogden, Utah for the first time. The Albertsons Boise Open presented by Chevron (Aug. 14-17) will become the regular season finale in 2025.
The four-event Korn Ferry Tour Finals – all of which will be televised on Golf Channel – will begin with the Simmons Bank Open for the Snedeker Foundation (Sept. 11-14) followed by the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship (Sept. 18-21). The Compliance Solutions Championship (Oct. 2-5) will become a Korn Ferry Tour Finals event in 2025, with The Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma taking over as the host venue. The 2025 Korn Ferry Tour season will conclude on Sunday, Oct. 12 with the final round of the Korn Ferry Tour Championship presented by United Leasing & Finance, followed by the PGA TOUR card ceremony.
The No. 1 player on the final 2025 Korn Ferry Tour Points List will continue to earn an exemption into THE PLAYERS Championship and the U.S. Open Championship the following season. Matt McCarty clinched the No. 1 ranking this past season after securing three wins in a six-event span in July and August. McCarty earned the coveted Three-Victory Promotion which granted him immediate eligibility in FedExCup Fall events on the PGA TOUR. Nine days ago, in just his third career start on TOUR, McCarty won the Black Desert Championship, becoming the first player to win three times on the Korn Ferry Tour and win on the PGA TOUR in the same season since Jason Gore in 2005.
