Mr. Van Steenbergen is a member of the firm's Global Life Sciences Market. He advises clients on enterprise-wide Talent Acquisition solutions and broader Human Capital topics.

Mr. Van Steenbergen brings international experience in Talent Advisory, including Executive Search with extensive knowledge of  the pharmaceutical, biotech & medical devices space for a variety of clients ranging from start-ups to multinational businesses across EMEA.

Prior to his current position, Mr Van Steenbergen headed the Life Sciences Practice in EMEA of Korn Ferry Professional Search, managing a pan-European team of specialized consultants delivering customized recruitment solutions and consulting services for across the full breadth of the Life Sciences & Healthcare Services sector

Besides his European responsibilities Mr. Van Steenbergen also acts as Trade Lane Partner for the Israeli market, a central point of contact across all sectors for Israeli companies with international talent needs.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry Mr. Van Steenbergen started his career in the pharmaceutical industry at Janssen Pharmaceuticals (J&J) in European technical operations.  In 2007 he moved on to an international recruitment firm focusing on specialized recruitment in the Life Sciences space. In 2008 he started up the Life Sciences practice for Korn Ferry in Benelux.

Mr. Van Steenbergen graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven with a Master's Degree in Biotechnology.  He also holds a degree in Economics and a degree in International Relations.  He is fluent in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.
