Silvia Sigaud is the Global Leader for the Agribusiness Practice for KornFerry, leveraging her more than 15 years of experience in senior-level executive search and assessment. This Practice encompasses: food ingredients, trading companies, commodities, crop protection & seeds, fertilizers, agri machinery, and biotechnology.
In Brazil, she is also charged with the leadership of the four Industrial Sectors: Chemicals & Materials, Pulp & Paper, Logistics & Transportation Services, and Diversified Manufacturing.
Ms. Sigaud has served a broad range of clients in a variety of industry sectors, leading successful assignments to recruit CEO and C-Suite executives. Additionally, she has partnered with colleagues to offer integrated solutions in organizational and leadership development and talent assessment.
In addition to her client activities, she led the Industrial Practice in Brazil and coordinated the Practice in Latin America, with focus on excellent client service, collaboration, and knowledge and segment specialization. This Practice area spans nine Global Sectors and is the largest Industrial Practice in the world. She has been working with the Agribusiness Practice since 2006 and more recently, she was invited to take on the global leadership of this Practice.
Prior to KornFerry, she held roles in supply chain management with large national organizations, charged with establishing importation processes and business controls and negotiating raw materials with suppliers. She lived and studied in Rochester, NY from 1997-1999.
Ms. Sigaud obtained her degree in History from the Pontificia Universidade Catolica, Rio de Janeiro. Following her undergraduate studies, she conducted research in the fields of History Anthropology for important national institutes.
