Russ has over 25 years of experience investing in and consulting to healthcare companies. Russ has an extensive and deep network of public company C-Level executives, founders/owners of healthcare companies, Private Equity investment professionals, lenders, investment bankers, advisors, and healthcare executives. 

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Russ was one of the leading middle market healthcare lenders in the nation with over $20 billion invested in healthcare companies and frequent speaker at healthcare and investor conferences. Through this investing, Russ has deep experience evaluating management teams. Most recently, Russ headed up healthcare for Silver Point Capital, a $25 billion alternative lender. He also led healthcare at Brightwood Capital and was the Head of the Healthcare Finance Team for Citizens Bank. 

Russ also oversaw the southeast and central region teams for GE Capital Healthcare Financial Services. Russ has been a board observer for healthcare companies including MedPro Healthcare Staffing, Bristol Hospice, and Lighthouse Autism. He is currently on the board of directors for the Atlanta Association for Corporate Growth and has served on the Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business Advisory Council and as Vice Chairman of the Virginia Tech Finance Department Advisory Board.

Russ received his undergraduate degree in Finance from Virginia Tech and his MBA from the University of Virginia. He lives in Atlanta, GA with his wife and 3 boys and enjoys sports and travel.
