Richard is a top-tier facilitator and developer of leaders and teams.

He is free thinking, builds trust and a good atmosphere quickly, and probes issues. He is always focused on helping people think through consequences and take action.

Richard brings extensive executive, consulting, digital and therapeutic competence to the table. He was CHRO in Elopak, the global packaging systems supplier, for 8 years before becoming CMO for 2, including key accounts, innovation and customer profitability. Along the way he was also CXO for quality, safety and sustainability. He was CHRO for Agrinos for 2 years, a global biostimulants supplier, where he was also CIO and President of the US subsidiary.

During his 15 years as a consultant Richard has worked for Kearney, Deloitte and a small local partnership. In Deloitte he ran practices in Change Management, Energy and Sustainability. In Kearney he was responsible for developing methodology in a global practice.

In terms of digital competence, Richard co-founded a SaaS company, defining the concept, developing the content, managing programming, piloting and implementation. He has also developed a digital talent acquisition solution designed to find, attract and recruit 10,000 people for Freyr Battery, a company helping drive the energy transition.

Richard began his career intending to be a clinical psychologist and has deep experience working with people with substance use disorders. Experience as a therapist provides some of the grounding Richard applies as a facilitator and developer.

Richard is an organizational psychologist with an MBA. He is British, based in Oslo and speaks Norwegian fluently.
