Associate Client Partner, Member of the EMEA CEO and Board Practice and EMEA CEO & Executive Development practice

Mr. Madsen is splitting his time between the Korn Ferry’s Copenhagen and Amsterdam offices, and he is member of the EMEA CEO and Board Practice as well as the EMEA Chief Executive Development Practice. 

Mr. Madsen has over 25 years’ experience as an organizational psychologist and HR executive focusing on building profitable companies through organizational strategy,  talent management, and leadership development.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Madsen has had a career spanning academia, the European Union, Fortune 100 companies, Silicon Valley, and Private Equity, most recently as Head of Human Capital for Triton Partner’s 42 portfolio companies.

During this and prior role, Mr. Madsen has been deeply involved in aligning people practices to business strategy and value creation, especially through top team alignment for strategy execution, organization, culture and talent strategies, and leadership development. In addition, Mr. Madsen has conducted countless assessments and leadership coaching sessions for executives and government officials. He holds various psychometric certifications and has published papers on talent, personality, intelligence and personal development. 

Mr. Madsen graduated from Copenhagen Business School with a Master in Human Resource Management before completing a Ph.D. in organizational psychology also from Copenhagen Business School and Stanford University.

Mr. Madsen has spent more than half of his career outside his Danish home country, primarily in United States, Brazil, and The Netherlands, and his global involvement has included special talent projects across Africa, South-East Asia, China, India, and Latin America as well.
