Max Kershner is a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Global Technology Practice where he spearheads our 360 efforts across the cybersecurity landscape in North America and works closely with technology enabled professional services organizations on high-leverage leadership engagements.
Max is a Principal with Korn Ferry, where he serves clients in the Professional/Technology Services ecosystem and leads KF’s North America Cybersecurity capability. He has placed 200+ C-Level executives and Partners/MDs into private equity backed companies, private partnerships, Fortune 500 firms, and boutiques across the Professional Services and Cybersecurity markets.
He thrives on leading transformational searches and is respected for his client service, commercial orientation, strategic thinking, and passion for executive search.
He spent several years prior with Heidrick & Struggles focused on the Cybersecurity, Professional Services, and Technology/Software verticals. Before entering executive search, Max was in investment banking with Stifel Financial in New York City where he focused on private equity capital raising.
Max graduated from The University of Maryland with a degree in Economics. He previously held a Series 7, Series 66, and CAIA (Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst) designation. He lives in Bethesda, Maryland with his wife Stephanie.
