Ms. Semler has worked for 20 years in the field of leadership development. At IESE Business School, she built up the school’s international presence in Custom Programs, developing customized solutions for companies across Europe and the Americas.

In 2011, Ms. Semler moved to Telefonica’s global corporate university, where she designed and delivered strategic leadership development initiatives for the six thousand executives in all geographies of the company.

Ms. Semler’s expertise is focused around designing and delivering leadership development programs with a special emphasis on systemic and behavioral change that starts from within each individual.

She has a keen interest in developing female/diverse talent in companies, as a powerful lever to transform the way that organizations shape society. She led and delivered Telefonica’s global Women in Leadership initiative for three years prior to joining Korn Ferry.

Ms. Semler has published academic articles on holistic leadership and the integration of relational intelligence in organizations.

Originally from both North America and Barcelona, Ms. Semler has lived and worked in the US, Spain and Russia. She speaks and works in English, Spanish, Catalan and French and has a conversational level of Russian.

Ms. Semler earned her doctorate in Organizational Change at the Ashridge Hult Business School in the UK. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a bachelor’s degree form Vassar College, both in Comparative Literature.
