Ms. Castro has developed with great success her search expertise of top executives, CEO, CFO, and COO for world-class companies in the region. Also highlights her experience, expertise and deep understanding in Oil & Gas and Energy practice where she has been positioned as a regional key player in recruitment and talent consulting.

Ms. Castro has more than two decades of experience working with multinational companies throughout her career. She has personally led and successfully developed market opportunities by managing sales and marketing operations in Colombia, Ecuador and Central America.

In 2011, Ms. Castro was appointed Managing Director, Andean Region where she manages the firm business in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Castro worked for a decade with Sun Microsystems. In her initial years at Sun, she focused on developing the Central American market and then held various executive positions, with primary responsibilities in the telecommunications banking and retail industries. Her final role at Sun was as President for Colombia and Ecuador.

Ms. Castro studied Business Administration at the Universidad de Costa Rica and holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from CESA University of Colombia, graduate studies from INALDE University in Colombia, as well as graduate studies in Management and Leadership from Columbia University in New York. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Latin Business Chronicle named her as one of the top 30 most influential business women of 2012.

Ms. Castro is the Board Director in YPO International (2014 - 2017).
