Cody led Salo’s growth into Denver and the West Region as the first Business Development Director outside of Salo’s two legacy midwestern markets to ignite the firm’s national expansion starting in 2021. He is an authentic relationship builder who loves to leverage his accounting background to be a thought partner and add perspective to situations his clients are facing, helping to find the right talent mix to solve problems.

Before joining Korn Ferry with its acquisition of Salo, Cody had a 10-year career in Big 4 public accounting. Cody started his career with KPMG as an auditor in New Orleans before transferring to Zurich, Switzerland for 3 years. After developing a love for skiing and mountain biking, he returned to the US and Denver where he was promoted to Audit Senior Manager. Cody then transitioned to accounting advisory as part of Ernst & Young’s Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) group, where he assisted clients with technical accounting, SEC compliance, IPO readiness and accounting process improvement.

Cody obtained a Masters of Accountancy and a Bachelors in Marketing from Tulane University where he played football and holds the school record for single season touchdowns by a tight end. He now lives in Denver with his wife and three young children, where he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
