Andrew is passionate about providing personalized, efficient and candid service to clients and utilizing his broad network to uncover and identify stellar human resources candidates. Across all of his searches, Andrew partners with clients to deliver a range of skilled candidates who are authentic, driven and who can demonstrate their impact to the organization. With an innate ability to assess others, he expertly pairs clients and candidates together to form synergistic partnerships. Andrew has placed heads of learning & development, total rewards, HRIS, talent acquisition, HR Business Partners and Managers in addition to executive HR leaders. 

Andrew Smerczak-Zorza began his recruiting career in 2007, and for the next 11 years, he completed searches across the country for leaders of universities, liberal arts colleges, independent schools and museums.  Before entering executive search, Andrew was an educator, teaching English in Japan’s Nagano Prefecture for the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme, and later Physical Education at Cristo Rey St. Martin in Waukegan, Illinois.  Andrew resides in Chicago and serves as the President of the Ravenswood Neighbors Association.
